Where's my extra slot? - Guild Wars Forums

I have ch1 and ch2 therefore giving me 6 slots. I purchased one extra slot from the GW store when it came out a months ago, this give me 7 slots. Today i preordered the CE edition of Nightfall and along with it i got a "Pre-Release Bonus Pack". On the back it said that the pre-release bonuses include an extra slot for "your nightfall account". I added the key to my account but still only have 7, shouldnt i be getting 8? Maybe the extra slot is not showing up until i actually get the game key when it come out on oct 27? Thanks for any info.

You don't get it until you add a retail key.

Correct, you will not receive the extra slot until you add the Nightfall key to your account. You have to actually purchase and add the game to your account to get the free slot.

The extra slot from buying the pre-release pack is in addition to the two you get with the standard edition of Nightfall.

Yes you do. As soon as you add any NF Key to your account the slot is unlocked.
